Mystic Seaport is the home of the Charles W Morgan where she is moored and is now a museum.  Having just finished a 6 year $6,000,000 restoration done by the Henry B. Dupont Preservation Shipyard, which is a part of the Mystic Seaport.  When completed at the beginning of the summer of 2014 she took her 38th Voyage to New Bedford, Ma. where she was originally built and homeported, then on to Boston, Ma., and was moored next to the USS Constitution.  The photos in this Gallery are to show how she is now after returning to Mystic and now resting as a museum for all to enjoy again.

There are many detailed pictures of the deck structures and deck details which are taken with a modeler in mind and the side details of deadeyes, chain plates, channels, and whaleboat handling components will be invaluable to a modeler building this ship.  These are much better than the plans and will literaly show you what the components look like and how they fit to the side of the ship.  I will be using these for reference as my model progresses.  Again, click on any picture to enlarge and view as a slide show, use the arrow keys to navigate.
This page is still under construction and will be updated as I find suitable content to add.  Please check back frequently 2-1-2015.
